yeah, there is a decent amount of music with really low notes and actual pedals. u just have to look in the right place. :) one thing i noticed when i first started with pedals, was that i was EXTREMELY sharp with the lowest C on down to pedals. i was actually even playing it an entire half step up. that was a LONG time ago and ive finally gotten comfortable with them. so make sure that when u r talking about a pedal G (which yes 12 would be the correct fingering) that u r actually even hitting the pitch G. and once u perfect ur pedals, congratulations!!!!! i find that the first notes i play when i start to practice always start with long, mid-low notes all the way down to pedals. GREAT warmup!! a tuner will have a hard time with those notes so use a piano or even just another player to give u the pitch that u r trying to hit. there are few tuners that can handle pedals anyways.
