I tried the Weril BBb and CC protoptype tubas at Dillon music the other day, and found them to be good student horns for the small-statured student. I was looking for a horn for an elementary school student at the time. I tried two BBb's (one was much better than the other), and one CC-tuba. For the advanced student or professional they may have some solo tuba possibilities, or be a good tuba for someone who for some reason or another cannot play a full-sized horn. These are my opinions only.
