Just like the subject says, I'm on the prowl for King piston tuba valves -- either a whole valveset (3 OR 4), or an individual complete valve.
I've got a 2-piston King contrabass bugle, and I'm entertaining the possibility of adding a valve -- or valves -- to make it a fully chromatic instrument. It already does have a "slip-slide" intended to add a half step, making an equivalent of a 2-3 fingering, but that's as far as it'll go. I'll probably be using it this summer, and I can bet that I'd need a 3rd valve, especially if I play any features.
I'll have specific bore measurements later on, so for now I'm mainly trolling for parts to see what's out there.
