I have two questions about the Weril tuba, mostly because I am having a little trouble tracing all the "plumbing" in the picture (my eyes, not chuck's picture).
a) Where is the main tuning slide located relative to the valveset
b) Which slides / branches have water keys
To understand the second question, you'd have to see my BBb with the awkward loop in the 3rd valve branch - before the tuning slide, no key - and, spit happens. But that's another story.
By the way, I won't ask exact pricing, but can you give a ballpark, or a fraction with respect to the Yamahas?
