Just thought I'd throw in my opinion on brass ensembles and quintets.
My personal opinion is that a quintet or ensemble should have the same balance as the organ at my church. A lot of the higher pitched sound, less middle sound, and more bass a TubaFest. In my opinion, any brass group with a weak bass section stinks. That's why I like the Canadian Brass.
