No one has mentioned Hindemith's Symphony "Die Harmonie der Welt" a late work and arguably his greatest orchestral piece. Rarely programmed due to conductors and program coordinators who are too lazy or cautious to go past the accepted works. Same applies to Prokofiev's 6th Symphony. The tuba gets seriously involved in both these works.
No one mentioned the two Elgar symphonies, In the South, and Cockaigne Overture.
