Definitely get the Abersold books as mentioned below. If you're just starting I would recommend Volume 1, the introduction, and volume 54, Maiden Voyage, which is a collection of easy tunes at manageable tempos. Also, I would recommend the play along cd called Gettin it Together, by the Travelin Light jazz duo (Sam Pilafian tuba). It has a useful little inlay book that goes along with it and lots of easy changes at relaxed tempos.
