You tell your band director to sell it to me, and after I buy it, I will write back reporting the bore size to BOTH of you. ;^)
(It is almost certainly .750" (3/4") in the valve section, if it is a big, fat Holton made in U.S.A. Don't worry about the 5/4 vs. 6/4 stuff. Those terms mean nothing. It is "BIG", OK? :-)
