"Kaiser" has been used by different makers and seems to be a generic term for a large German-style rotary valve instrument. I've seen the name applied to Cerveny and Mirafone instruments. There was a discussion of Kaiser on this BBS a few months ago. Check the archives (great job on the archives, Sean!).
