Hi,
Has anyone seen the list for the Air force audition. It's so silly. They are asking for scales and arpeggios (And it does specify from memory) {SCALES!?). A solo of your choice (With a few suggestions) a techinical and lyrical etude, sight reading and OPTIONAL- Perform band and orchestral excerpts (with suggestions) What is the point of that, Optional what does that mean, you can prepare them if you want to? Most (Gosh, all that I know, except sometimes you get to pick a solo) auditions give you the list so they can listen for what they want to hear. This just seems really unprofessional of them.
