I believe I have your answer regarding the difference between a pro 186 and a S-186. Go to www.ebay.com and search for "tuba". On the 2nd page, you'll find a Mirafone BBb that I believe was last bid at $1825 (obviously lower than the person will probably take). Anyway, I am sure THAT particular tuba is a S-186. Just for your knowledge and interest!!! Also, if you're unsure of which one I'm talking about, it's # 221784933. That's a BBb, but trust me, you want a CC. :)~
