Sam Pilafian has to be one of the nicest professional tuba players I have ever met. He has been out to my college and given a masterclass and a couple of perfomances with our local wind symphony. A few months ago he sat beside me in our wind ensemble class for two days, and I learned so much. Just a nice guy overall.
