Better construction quality=better care taken in making the instrument. Basically, the builders made sure that the horn would be a GREAT tuba, not just another one to roll off the line. What specifically that is, I don't know...I wasn't in the factory when it was being built. It's just the usual, notable quality difference between horns that are worked on and fine-tuned by experts and those that are mass-produced mostly by machine.
