I shopped and eventually found a Whole-Tone (Holton) that I fell in love with :-)

my BAT is nearly 30 years old, built like a tank, and sounds WAY better
than either the PT7 OR the 2165. I guess that makes sense, since the lore says it's THE original. Be patient, good used BATs DO come on the market sometimes, there were three that came available during the yeAR I spent shopping for one. ALL THREE were referenced as "FS" on this BBS (bulletin board service)
when they were being sold, and considering what I would up with
it was W.W.tW. (well worth the wait)!
