I have a 1913 Holton 'raincatcher' sousaphone that I was considering restoring. Everything is intact except the valve buttons, valve springs, neck, and bell. All of the slides are fine. There are no dents in the minor tubes. The serial number is 27896. There are no major dents... just the normal dings. The major tubes have been unsoldered so all of the minor dentwork can be done. I figured a bell would be fairly easy to construct from modern parts. There's just one problem... I discovered the horn is a BB flat and I really want an E flat instrument. I would like to trade this BB for an E in either a 'raincatcher' or 'helicon configuration. I already own vintage E flat standard configuration sousaphones and upright tubas.
