There are better offerings than the Getzen F. Their CC tuba is a pretty good horn, but the F turned out to be a bit of a dog, IMHO.

Switching back and forth between F and Eb on the same horn, to me, is more of a gimick than an asset. You will end up leaving the horn in one key or the other after a few weeks. Learning to play a horn in another key, such as F, will take 1 week to figure out, and 3 months to become comfortable with.

Take a look at B&S, Meinl Weston, Yamaha, and surely others in your price range to find an F which you sound good on, is reasonable to play, and is relativelly well intune.
