Unfortunately, I can't agree with your assessment. I own, among others, a Unitec and an Anvil case. The Unitec seems okay for the money but I've not found a case that protects my tuba better than an Anvil. I've traveled all over Europe with one and not a scratch. Ditto for domestic flights. I much prefer a case that is form fitted to the instrument it carries. The Anvil is made this way and the Unitec is not. Anvil cases are a little more expensive but worth the extra dough for the level of protection you get. Good luck with your new tuba!
