Joe S. knows about the Ole Miss frat parties in Memphis, I'm sure. I have played bass/tuba for the past three years with the Bill Jordan Big Band for these parties during Christmas. I'm amazed that these partiers want White Christmas, Rudolph, and Proud Mary all at the same time.
Alot of nice establishments have been the victims of these encounters, and there is always two girls who are half drunk and are interested in the same guy. The last fight only lasted about 15 seconds, but it closed down the entire mood.
I know its not like playing for the dead, but one must look out for your own safety in the Christmas season.
Now on to 4 parades, one high school music department concert, 2 Church Christmas Cantatas and a Christmas pep ralley before the end of school; and 3 casino gigs during Christmas/New Year's break.
