I think the mix is about 1/3 everclear, and 2/3 valve oil, this was in a post a while back. If it is really cold, some sporting goods stores have "warm packs" which you can squeeze to start the action, and then apply somehow in the area of the valves with an "Ace" bandage or something like that to keep them cozy. Or use a hand warmer the same way, but careful not to set yourself on fire or get valves too hot.
