The Korg CA-20 is an excellent tuner. It picks up the low range of the tuba very well. I am able to check my pedal range on it. I did have a Boss tuner that I paied quite a bit more for that is now sitting in my closet because the Korg was so much better. By the way, I ordered mine from Muncy winds for somewehere around $15.
