I have a Meinl-Weston six-valve F tuba on "permanent loan" from someone, and I don't play it because of the awful angle of the leadpipe and mpc. It tilts my head back to play it, killing my neck, no matter how I hold the tuba, unless I put it crosswise on my lap. Since it also dribbles water down my chin (and it's _condensation_ not Spit!) I think the dribbling problem is a leadpipe angle problem. See if the leadpipe slants down into your face, and maybe you can find a way to get it changed if it does. Then the condensation will dribble down into the horn, where it can make gurgling sounds like it's supposed to.
