I bought a protec last year and it works just fine. However, if your looking for something really comfortable, reunion blues has a leather bag with two shoulder straps. altieri also has this, but is WAY too big for any euphonium I've ever encountered. as far as protection is concerned, I wouldn't count on any gig bag to offer protection, only convienience.
