I just purchased my first rotary valve tuba. It is a Miraphone 186cc. It plays great except fo one big problem, it make an excessive amount of noise! As far as I can tell, it is coming from the valves. I made sure the cork was good and the valve was tapped all the way in evenly, and still no luck. It sounds as if it's coming from inside the casing itself. Not all the valves do it all the time, so it's really got me stumped. This is my first rotary horn, so if there is anybody that has a clue as to what is wrong, PLEASE HELP!! Please email me or post a follow-up. Thanks in advance.
