Slide sets are indeed available for the Meinl Weston, piston CC tubas. At Dillon Music, we have a set with the main tuning slide for a MW 2155. EVERY slide of the horn is replaced. You end up with a 5 valve BBb tuba. The existing main tuning slide is inserted backwards into a double loop assembly. I slapped the set in a 2155 and was impressed with how well it played and sounded. If you were permanently using the horn as a BBb you will want to install an extra brace (even detachable if you wish) between the longer main slide assembly and the bottom bow. We should order the main slide adapters (maybe 5th is different, too) for a 2145 and 2165 as the valve section slides are the same from horn to horn. That would make a great school horn. Transition an incoming college freshman from BBb to CC on the same horn. At this time, I don't recall the price for a set.
