This show was made two years ago (maybe three) or at least, it appeared for the first time two years ago. Chuck told me that the conditions for it were awful; it was cold; the hours were long but he got to use his and the other peoples' children in it and that made it tolerable. I talked to him about it in March, 1999, in Athens, Georgia, at the inaugural International Brass Quintet Contest. I assume it was made in 1997, given the weather portrayed, and all the postproduction work needed. I really like the show and wish there were a video of it offered.
