Hi Paul,
I have The Tuba Tutor, which is in two volumes, the second with piano. I got them from my friend at the Moscow Conservatory Mssr. Leonov who kindly sent the books. The first volume contains basic instruction on the tuba with fingerings, etc. It also contains short melodious etudes (á la Gregoriev). These are by various composers such as Rakov, Lebedev, Brahms, Bach, Grieg, Smirnova, Kitka and Volkov to name a few. The second volume contains more melodies with piano: Bartok, Gluck, Zverev, Britten, Handel, etc. My editions are from 1984 and the only place that I was able to find these were from Russia directly. E-mail me privately if you'd like more information.
Cheers,
Moises
