Good suggestion, but I think it's modern pitch. All the slides are right in. It's all pretty well in tune except that one note. All the open notes above it are pretty fine. I am at a loss as to what it may be. Following your reply are some other things for me to try. I'll plod through them and see what I can do. It looks like it might have a pretty good horn in its day, but what do I know??? Maybe this is a peculiarity if that design??
