BBb's are all squirrly in that register. The same notes are a little squirrly on a CC horn but displaced by a step (although not as squirrly as on the BBb's) It has to do with the over tone series. That is why you can play up there on your Eb. You would be able to play up there nicely with an F also. Instead of being a mouthpiece changer (I always suggest the Conn Helleberg for an all around more focused sound)why don't you just practice buzzing those notes more. The more focused your buzz is the better the notes will come out ont the horn. Fix yourself before you go blameing you equipment. That's the motto I live by.
