I have purchased Four Jupiter Tubas-- two 4/4 JCB582L for our Concert Band (High School) and two 3/4 size for one of our Junior High schools. There was a problem with the vvalves discoloring and sticking on one of the horns. Jupiter sent me replacement valves, guides and stand behind their instruments better than any company I have had to business. The horns are very playable, have a good center and the usual pitch problems. They are also built well, and replacement parts are comparatively inexpensive.
