What kind of sound do you like?
Are you looking for a large F to do more of your playing on?
Do you like the rotor german sound or more of a C sound?
theses ?'s will tell you which one you would like better. I like the sound of the Miraphone 181 better if you like rotors. The 45SLP is a great F and plays with a big sound and is a tall tuba. 38 inches tall and will fit in a 186 miraphone bag.
Big F with a big sound. There are alot of differences between these 2 tubas and alot of differences between each one.
Whichever one you pick, play 2 to 3 if you can.
