Some of the advantages of BBb have to do with used horn selection. If you prefer a helicon, sousaphone, recording bass, top action pistons, short action valves or compensating valves you pretty much are stuck with BBb over CC. Additionally if your budget only allows you to spend less then $2500 for a horn, the selection of decent playing beat up BBbs in that price range is greater then that of CCs.
