It's funny you mention those two horns in the same breath. A few years ago, I was trying to find a new F-tuba. Both of these horns(MW & Yamaha) were my two picks. To me, they were both very comfortable and in the same price range. Alas, I chose the Yamaha only because it can fit in my car trunk(Toyota) the same time as my Hirsbrunner HB-21 fits in the back seat! However, I really didn't feel that big a difference between the two, playing wise. There was definitely a physical difference in size, but to me that was it. Hope this helps!
