I have been waiting somewhat anxiously for an Alexander F/CC to arrive
here at a local dealer in the SF Bay Area. Production of these in Mainz
is (apparently) VERY slow, as there is a lot of fine-tuning associated
with them (more than that of two separate one-off tubas) I guess
its exacerbated by the big can/switch-valve. I'll be happy to post
details when it arrives
