oh yeah,
it's REAL easy to be envious of low-grade predatory public sniping
and incessant behind-the-scenes belly-aching. Hardly!
There was a distributor of a certain German horn line in texas a few years
ago that (for all practical purposes) nearly KILLED the manufacturer's sales in the U.S.
by pulling that crap, and the current newbie's approach to retail is awful similar.
When I used to sell, and when I used to be a buyer, we had a disparaging
term for this type of sales mentality, we called them "ten-percenters."
I know now-a-days the margins are probably tighter than that, but the cross-country
competition to sell "NOW" does more to harm our community/market than help it.
Just an observation from someone on the left coast who sees OUR lone retailer
as a compliment to the community-at-large, and not competition to someone in Texas or Jersey or Maryland or anywhere else. Two out of those three delaers would agree with me too, by-the-way..

What REALLY sucks, is when regional retailers start to "sell" by mailorder,
and blatantly market loopholes in local sales tax laws as the reason to buy "from them."
