Klaus,

Would you be so kind as to do a quick & dirty translation of this? It is from an e-mail I received about a year and a half ago from Phillipe Alexander. It is from the enclosed price list.

"Model 166 - Doppel-Tuba in F und C (oder F und B)-Stimmung, Verlangerungszuge, 4 Doppelventile, einfaches Umschaltventile, Neusilberkranz am schallstuck, Bohrung F-Teil 18,5 mm, C- oder B-Teil 19,5 mm, Schall 380 mm, Lange 95 cm, Mundstuck F32"

Am I interpreting this correctly; that it is a true double tuba with a switch valve and two different bore sizes for the two different-pitched horns? If that's the case, it must be a heavy beast.

The only tubas pictured on the website are the Wagner-Tubas, although tubas, and particularly kaisertubas, are mentioned in several places.

Thanks,

SD
