I just returned from the Mount Pleasant, MI TubaChristmas hosted by Prof. Mark Cox, Tuba Euph professor at Central Michigan University. Good attendence with a broad range of abilities were present...from Middle School to us "other than" School agers. It was exciting to see so many young players coming to their first TubaChristmas. Everyone seemed to have a lot of fun even if it was COLD! (Snow was falling during the finale.) Thank you to Prof. Cox, the CMU students and the downtown merchants for hosting us. (AND Mrs. Cox our cookie maker!)
Anyone going to Coldwater, MI tomorrow? I always enjoy it the most because it tends to be a smaller gathering than the Michigan university town events.
