When Brian Bowman discussed the piece this summer at the University of Oklahoma Tuba-Euphonium Workshop, I'm pretty sure he said it the Frnch way. My teacher here at OU, Ted Cox has never corrected me pronouncing it the same way, so I'm pretty sure it's the French way. And thanks to Tom B for correcting the Allegro/Rondo mixup, I must have been channeling the Barat, for some reason . . .
