Don't do it, there are many other tubas available today for about the same money that are much better made. The St. Petes may play alright, but their quality control is non-existent. You'd be much better off with a VMI 2103, or Jupiter 582 which are almost exactly the same price as a new St. Pete, or a Weril 680 for about $1000 less.
