In fact, my father-in-law had been recently diagnosed with hemachromatosis, and was being treated for it, but they had not yet determined whether he had suffered any organ damage as a result. I'm sure you know that this is a genetically transmitted condition, and your siblings, children, and nieces and nephews should be checked. It sounds like you've got a great doctor, and you're getting great treatment. I wish you well for many years to come!
