I'm sorry you've had a bad experience with rotors on the school MW 25. However, I don't believe that schools should stay away from rotors. Rotors seem to me like they are ideal for high school age people since the valves and linkage are nearly care free parts of the horn. Yes, I understand that rotors and linkage parts need oil and such too, but unlike pistons, you don't have to take the valves out to oil them, which elimates the opportunity for all kinds of realted damage to occur.
