Actually, this has nothing to do with the tuba.
I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year. As well, the events of September 11 has, according to Dr. Jeffrey A. Rosensweig in PATRIOTIC ECONOMIES - How to Thrive While Helping America, "unwittingly deepened our love of country, freedom, justice, and family."
Many of us love the music making and tuba playing that we do a great deal. We need to remember to continue to support all efforts to make this the strongest economy the world has ever known. That will make it so we can continue to enjoy our instruments just as in the past.
I am not looking for responses to this post, but just hope we can all have the Happiest of New Years.
