The only intonation problem that I've noticed in Willson 2900's (and also, I think, in the Willson EEb) is a flat 4th partial (euphonium - top-o-staff Bb/A & EEb tuba - 3rd space Eb/D). Not much of a "problem" because in spite of the fact that this slightly flat Bb serves as the primary "tuning note" for many eupho players, many never notice that it is flat because it is so flexible and so easily pushed up to in tune.

I suppose I'll wait quite a while to see what they've done with the 842, as I'm not a Yama-dealer and the local store that can get the Yama8-o-phonium probably won't order any.
