I made the mistake,last night, of grabbing a fast burger Meal Deal at Mickie D's before rehersal. Should have know better. I was very uncomfortable all through rehersal and performed at less than my usually modest best.
But, it got me to thinking about what to have as a proper meal before rehersal or a concert. Atheletes are very conscious about pre-game meals for top performance - what to eat and when to eat. How about tubist and brass players in general. What's your "pre-game" meal routine?
