Jim Akins was trying to sell us on these horns as he and one of his former students have a hand in at Conn. No one seemed all that impressed with the F's. I played them about a month or two ago at school and a prototype down at ITEC, and neither were all that easy to play. The miidle register was fine, but I had to force both the upper and lower registers much more than I would have liked to to speak. Overall not a "bad" tuba, but not nearly on a par with the B&S's and Miraphones of the world. Thats what Ive got to say about them, Jeff
