This is getting a little weird for me. Isn't it difficult enough to try to be as good a musician as possible? Now we have to understand cubits and furlongs? Being a thoroughbred American, I have a little trouble with metric. If I find a tuba with "the sound," which does all the other things a tuba should do, I don't care what size the bore is(or anything else, for that matter). Of course, I don't want to have to rent a semi to carry it, either.
