I have the Sharp MD and the AT-822. The quality is very good but not professional; I can hear a distinct difference between what I get and a pro quality CD. It sounds fine in headphones for some reason, but even through the stereo I can hear a difference, before mixing down to CD (which I don't do, someone else does.) Maybe some kind of pre-amp is needed, or maybe the mike just is not pro quality.
