My ONLY experience is as a driver who avoids it whenever possible (and therefore has only driven it three or four times). It appears that 610 had to be run above an existing city, and that the difficulties there were necessary to accomplish an interchange down to street level in a very small space; but to a driver who is unfamiliar with the interchange, it's nightmarish. And if the driver comes upon on it unaware of its - uh - challenges, and has a full-sized van full of excited kids, and is unaccustomed to the aggressiveness of Houston drivers, well...
