I am inclined to believe that the CC use is correct. On the liner notes for the Galliard and Barat pieces it clearly mentions that the F tuba is used. You can assume that if it is mentioned that the F is used on those two pieces, then it probably would've been mentioned if the F tuba was used of the Effie.
