Eb players and collectors,
I have recently aquired an Eb York tuba. According to my serial number sorces this one is a mid 1930s Tuba. It has three front action valves and a FIXED recording bell. I don't think it very common at least its the first I've seen and I have seen alot of Yorks from this era. I have rebuilt several of these big Ebs but usually they are upright bell upright valves and not playable. This one is in very fine shape and plays beautifully. Thats why I'm posting this message. I will most likely send this one to the York Collection in Ann Arbor Mi. But first I want to offer it up for sale. My hope is that it would find a home with someone who would play it. I imagine it would be a glorious instrument for a summer band. $750.00 I'll pay the shipping to anywhere in the US.
