i have a yamaha yfb 822 and i am very pleased with it. it has a GREAT low range but it has a slightly bright sound to it. the best f tuba in my opinion is the hirsbrunner but i know it is expensive. the meinl weston has a nice sound but the low range isn't good and the intonation is really bad. the perantuccis have a great sound but no low range. good luck with your search for the great and wonderful F tuba.
